About the role

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following: Providing advice to BLS management on accounting and financial management issues, including interpretation of Appropriation Law Directing and coordinating the management of the agency's accounting program by processing financial transactions to obligate, accrue, and expend BLS funds in accordance with Congressional, OMB, Treasury, GAO, and DOL laws, rules, and regulations Directing the preparation and reconciliation of BLS monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports Managing the cash management and debt collection programs of BLS Developing and executing interagency agreements in support of BLS programs
