About the role
DUTY 1 Functioning in a career-broadening capacity, the incumbent serves as the Air Force's subject matter expert on the Strategy, Planning, Programming, and Budget Execution (SPPBE) process and is responsible for the development and integration of strategic planning and programming guidance that shapes the future of the Air Force. DUTY 2 As part of their career-broadening experience, the incumbent routinely prepares and presents high-level briefings on complex and often controversial subjects to the most senior Air Force leaders, including the Chief of Staff and the Secretary of the Air Force. DUTY 3 To broaden their strategic-level perspective, the incumbent functions as a central hub for integration, requiring them to maintain a continuous and active liaison with a wide array of stakeholders. This includes other Air Staff directorates, Major Command (MAJCOM) staffs, other service headquarters counterparts, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and various DoD offices to integrate
