Pharmacist - National Program Manager

The duties of this position include, but are not limited to: Provides clinical expertise for development and maintenance of the VISN/National Formulary and is proactive in making recommendations for standardization of the VA Pharmacy Benefits Determines the therapeutic basis for competitive bidding of pharmaceutical products, maintaining a list of potential items for inclusion in the National Formulary Develop clinical guidance to aid in the implementation of therapeutic interchange, formulary decision-making process, and contracting to provide guidance to clinicians caring for veterans, and to support VA decisions to other government agencies, the Congress, various veteran organizations, and the public Serves as the PBM liaison with the National Acquisition Center, the MAP, industry and professionals at the local/network level Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, various schedules available to be determined at selection Compressed/Flexible: Available Telework: Available Virtual: This is no
