Shipfitter

*Position Summary:* Talent Source is hiring Shipfitters with experience fitting, burning, and prepping steel structures on Navy ships. *Job Duties:* * Read and interpret ship fabrication blueprints and sketches. * Fit bulkheads, stiffeners, and foundations using cutting tools. * Burn, bevel, and tack weld parts for final welding. * Use torches, grinders, plasma cutters, and magnetic drills. * Maintain work area and adhere to safety standards. *Qualifications:* * 4+ years of marine or shipyard shipfitting experience. * Ability to read drawings and layout with precision. * Must pass hands-on fit test. *Pay Range:* $30-$38/hour (based on experience) *About Talent Source: *Talent Source is a trusted partner connecting hardworking individuals with high-demand roles across the construction, maritime, and professional sectors.
