Director, Large Load Interconnection & Strategy

ABOUT THE POSITION Generate Capital aims to provide power to large load customers through a combination of on-site power and grid-connected solutions. As Director, Large Load Interconnection & Strategy you will lead site identification and assessment, interconnection strategy and execution to deliver this. You will be the internal authority on where and when Generate can realistically deliver power. What you will be doing at Generate Capital as the Director, Large Load Interconnection & Strategy: - Lead interconnection strategy and execution for large load customers across the U.S. in alignment with Generate’s priorities and evolving regulatory frameworks. - Screen and qualify markets/sites using time-to-power, grid constraints, queue position/dynamics, upgrade exposure, and transmission availability for existing and new large load sites. - Evaluate power transmission infrastructure requirements and risks, including delivering power from the grid or via on-site / near-site gene
