Laborer

JOB TITLE: Laborer REPORTS TO: Labor Foreman PAY RANGE: $20.00-$22.00 per hour DOE Summary of position: Position performs routine physical labor; moving materials, tools, and/or equipment; cleaning equipment, vehicles, machinery, and work areas; operating various types of tools, such as, pneumatic, electric, and hand; brush roll or hand brush painting; assisting blasters by pulling hoses, mucking tanks, and removing grit. May be required to perform additional duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor for the completion of the job in a safe and timely manner. Essential Job Requirements: Perform routine physical work under close supervision. Follow oral and written instruction from supervisor or more experienced worker. Seldom required to make decisions. Move materials and/or tools and equipment manually or with dolly, hand truck, cart, forklift. Muck tanks, pull hoses, and remove grit with vacuum hoses or by bucket.
