Attorney Advisor

Duties: The selected candidate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and preparing a wide range of legal documents, including opinions, regulations, briefs, and motions. As part of a collaborative team, the selected candidate Senior Counsel will provide legal guidance to senior management officials, analyze legal issues, and offer recommendations to support informed decision-making. Notably, the selected candidate. Senior Counsel will participate in reviewing appellate recommendations, advising on Supreme Court and appellate court cases, and occasionally preparing briefs and requests for appellate review. Additional responsibilities include offering legal advice on policy matters and rulemaking, as well as analyzing significant departmental regulations.
