Maintenance Coordinator NF-03

Incumbent works under the direction and reports to the Support Services Specialist. Receives, interprets, initiates, and processes maintenance requests for repairs or services. Coordinates the initial and long-term planning for the maintenance of all material and equipment utilized by the installation. Oversees a comprehensive preventive maintenance program and coordinates on-demand maintenance. Serves as warranty coordinator by monitoring and maintaining reports of equipment under warranty. Ensures the program performs within budgetary constraints with purchases, repair parts and supplies. Inspects and diagnoses equipment to make a determination on the best means to repair equipment. Coordinates appropriate course of actions for repairs. Identifies equipment to be salvaged or what disposition should be made.
