Maintenance Mechanic Leader

Major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Work leaders (WL) distribute work to a diversified group of nonsupervisory employees in accomplishing an extremely wide variety of functions assigned to the shop. On a daily basis, these include the overhaul, maintenance, repair, modification, testing, evaluating, safety inspection, adjusting, rebuilding, preventative maintenance, installation, analyzing and troubleshooting of the following: Steam systems: (Heating, medium and high pressure). Station Domestic Water Distribution Systems, Gas Distribution Systems and Sanitary Systems Fire Protection Systems Pneumatic and Hydraulic Equipment Mechanical Equipment Roofing Welding Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration HVAC and/or Plumbing Certified The WL plans daily work, assigns tasks based on priority and establishes the proper sequence of work operations to accomplish work on time and in accordance with applicable directives.
