Supervisory Supply Management Specialist

***THIS IS NOT A VIRTUAL POSITION, YOU MUST LIVE WITHIN OR BE WILLING TO RELOCATE WITHIN A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE OF THE DUTY LOCATION*** Major Duties: Develop contract actions with designated Contracting Officers and Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs). Routinely interfaces with vendors and national-level VA stakeholders to determine and provide resolution to contract issues. Work with national-level Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) improve and streamline national-level procurement actions that support VHA operations. Assist in the development of Performance Work Statements (PWS) for known and emergent mission requirements. Serves as an Alternate Contracting Officer's Representative (ACOR) when warranted or directed. Interpret directives and guidance from higher authority and issues implementing instructions related to storage control and support functions.
