Engineering Eqpt Operator

The incumbent has Leader responsibility for cemetery operations to include: Interment Operations and occasionally Grounds Maintenance Operations. Incumbent may also act as the primary or alternate Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COR) as required to provide oversight of numerous contractors and to verify the completion of those contracted tasks. Motivates and promotes the teamwork of those they lead to perform as an effective working unit. Incumbent may be temporarily assigned as acting Foreman (WS-9) during the Foreman's absence and assists in the planning and implementation of projects, changes, work method improvement, quality assurance, and the general overall smooth operation of the cemetery from the field perspective. The Work Leader performs under the direct supervision of the Foreman and ensures that daily and weekly work schedules established for the Foreman are accomplished, reporting any problems or variances. The incumbent will perform other duties as assigned.
