BLOCKER AND BRACER (CRANE/FORK LIFT/MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR)

- Independently performs a wide range of cargo processing duties; to include receiving, processing and multi-pallet build up/breakdown for onward movement. Receives/processes cargo by verifying movement documents against marking & labeling on each item offered for movement. - Serves as a subject matter expert. Trains and guides four or more military journeyman and trainees in the performance of oversized/outsized cargo handling and processing for airlift or surface movement on military and commercial contracted aircraft/trucks. - Operates overhead bridge cranes, various forklift trucks capable of lifting loads weighing up to 70K pounds higher than 168 inches, and motor vehicles with a gross weight of more than 32K pounds. - Utilizes safety practices and procedures, complies with established safety rules and regulations, and maintains a safe, clean, and secure work environment. Operates tools, equipment and vehicles in accordance with safety regulations.
