About the role
The government-wide "Semester of Service" Student Volunteer Program, as authorized under 5 U.S.C §31114 and 5 CFR Part 308, enables Federal agencies to engage students in unpaid, project-based assignments of limited duration. These assignments are designed to align with each agency's strategic priorities, offering participants practical experience within Federal operations while supporting the advancement of targeted initiatives. The Office of Human Resources, Training and Development Division, is in the process of developing an Accountability Training Campaign focused on providing all Department of Labor employees with the essential skills and competencies necessary to support and advance our Agency's mission. This project will involve coordinating in-person, online, and hybrid training sessions, identifying learning management system courses that support the training campaign, developing course curriculum, and developing marketing materials for the project.
