Crew Systems Engineering Intern, Human Factors

Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run. We are looking for an intern to join us as Crew Systems Engineering Intern, Human Factors KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - As an Human Factors Engineering intern, you will work under the direction of our Crew Systems Lead, to support human-in-the-loop testing, wherein we would evaluate seat fit, workstation view and reach envelopes, display & controls UX, and other associated activities to support the US engineering office with tasks related to the Nyx Crew vehicle prototype testing, including: - Create usability testing plans and conduct human-in-the-loop tests to evaluate crew cabin design effectiveness - Analyze user behavior and feedback to inform design decisions - Apply ergonomic principles to optimize crew cabin design for suited
