About the role

As an Ordnance Equipment Mechanic, the purpose of this position is to provide munitions support to the state and designated agencies in support of their taskings. Manages allocations, stock levels, inventories, requisitions, and disposition of munitions. Assembles/Disassembles, adjusts configuration, performs maintenance/tests & repairs, handles and transports ammunition, decoys, countermeasures to include LUU series flares and dispensers, rocket, unguided and guided weapons and countermeasures, demolition material, and other types of conventional ordnance such as 40MM, Cluster Bomb Units (CBU), Guided Bomb Units (GBU), general purpose bombs, aircraft canon ammunition, missile systems, for loading on aircraft based on Unit Committed Munitions List (UCML) and Wings training requirements. Coordinates with various sections to ensure the effective flow of information, scheduling, and use of available resources. Complies with safety and security requirements.
