Logistics Management Specialist (Dispatch Center Manager)

As a Logistics Management Specialist (Dispatch Center Manager), your duties will include but are not limited to the following: Ensure priorities are established and resources are properly allocated. Supervise the mobilization, demobilization, and reassignment of wildland fire suppression resources. Monitor fire season severity predictions, fire behavior reports, and fire activity levels. Provide leadership and direction in support of interagency resource management activities. Plan, organize, and assign work to subordinates to meet workload accomplishments. Evaluate work performance of subordinates. Exercises the supervisory authorities and responsibilities 20% of time.
