MARINE TRANSPORTATION SPECIALIST

You will provide dry cargo sealift mission expertise to meet peacetime, exercise, and contingency requirements. You will receive cargo requirements from higher authority, conduct market research, complete all contracting actions to obtain the required number of chartered vessels, and monitor performance throughout a mission's entire life cycle. You will request U.S. government funds from mission sponsors, place received funds on contract, monitor mission funding levels throughout the period of performance, pay valid invoices/return unused funds to mission sponsors upon contract closeout. You will assist the Dry Cargo Project Officer in managing the full range of dry cargo missions.
