About the role
If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for affirmative and defensive civil litigaiton. Typical work assignments will include: Prepare and organize documentation, evidence, or other documentary data for trials. Provide advice on the most efficient method for preparing legal documents. Use multiple online legal systems to research, evaluate, and analyze a variety of routine legal topics and/or points of law. Draft initial legal and administrative briefs, motions, oppositions to defense motions and correspondence for Assistant United States Attorney's (AUSA) review. Develop and enter various case material into a computer database. Prepare and organize exhibits, documents, memoranda, reports, and correspondence relating to cases for review by AUSAs for interviews, depositions, or use at trial.
