Seed Marketing Specialist (Regulatory)

The duties described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity. The duties may include, but are not limited to: Plans and coordinates investigations of FSA violations and coordinated enforcement in one or more regions of the country. Reviews documentation of complaints of FSA violations received from State seed control officials, seed shippers, and consumers. Determines if the documentation of sampling and test reports are adequate to establish the violation alleged. Prepares for own signature, letters of warning to interstate shippers, and letters to State officials indicating no action is warranted. Initiates investigation of interstate shipper's records by mail and compiles the relevant documentary evidence surrounding the violations. Conducts informal hearings to receive the interstate shipper's presentation of views, reviews facts and recommends appropriate a
