About the role

The Head of Project Management and Exhibitions manages key portions of the Museum's overall programs as SAWHM evolves into a physical museum. In this position, you will: Supervise assigned staff; promote staff development and assessment through the effective use of performance plans, individual development plans and training opportunities; oversee the work of staff and evaluate performance. Develop, manage, and track project budgets, including contingencies. Facilitate and communicate an agreed-upon budget, approaching procurement deadlines and potential conflicts. Oversee exhibition project proposal processes, whereby projects are reviewed by the SAWHM Director and key senior staff (including incumbent) for mission alignment, audience and research goals. Guide the decision making to approve or deny an exhibition for addition to exhibitions master schedule. Schedule and implement exhibition projects.
