About the role
DUTY 1: Directs the development and documentation of operational concepts and strategies for assigned programs/projects such as cyber intrusion damage assessments and triage analysis of very complex data sets related to cyber intrusions. DUTY 2: As a recognized cyber/electronics engineering expert provides technical guidance, advisory support, and lead and assistance on projects and/or major phases for broad and varied operations. DUTY 3: Lead technical representative to Air Staff personnel in the areas of programming, budgeting, and execution of AF-level cyber programs. Represents HQ USAF on Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD)level command boards, panels, and committees dealing with resource plans, programming and budget allocation actions of scientific and engineering efforts.
