DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

The primary purpose of this position is: To exercise second level supervisory and managerial authorities over the 319th Operations Group (OG). With the commander, oversee the complex, numerous, and varied day-to-day maintenance and flying responsibilities of the OG worldwide. Authorized to make technical and executive decisions for the 319th OG Commander in all areas of functional responsibility; represents the group and the commander at meetings, conferences, official functions, and community events, and, when acting as the senior group official in the absence of the commander, possesses the same authority and prerogatives as the commander, excluding UCMJ authority which is vested in military officers only. Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the 319th Operations Group. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Represents 319 Operations Group with a variety of installation and functional area organizations to include but are not limited to installation
