Cemetery Administration Specialist (Lead)

The incumbent serves as a Lead Cemetery Administration Specialist within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) National Cemetery Administration (NCA), Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. The incumbent is responsible for conducting internment case analysis to determine trends and develop plans with management to correct processes. The incumbent oversees all case establishments, verification of military service activities, headstone formatting, and scheduling of internments at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. The incumbent serves as team leader for the administrative office staff, which consists of nine employees in a variety of activities to support 5,100 annual internments. Performs public outreach as needed. Work schedule: Required to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. May include occasional weekends.
