About the role
You will be the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Program Manager for Marine Corps Base Quantico. You will monitor and coordinate, through the NEPA review process, with other professional personnel engaged in environmental compliance programs to ensure all obligations are included in the construction, operation and maintenance of MCBQ facilities. You will interpret policies, plans, and programs and evaluate performance data against broadly established objectives, goals, and standards. You will identify pollution abatement requirements to be included in military construction programs or in projects to be supported with funds from operations and maintenance, Marine Corps, or other appropriations. You will represent MCBQ and actively participates in consultations, meetings, conferences, and committees involving policy and other matters pertinent to environmental compliance and remediation.
