Facilities Services Supervisor

The Facilities Services Supervisor is responsible for supervising facilities staff; overseeing loading dock and shuttle operations (the museum proper is located in New York City and the storage facility is located in Newark, NJ); and ensuring safety compliance. In this position, you will: Serve as the supervisor for the Facilities Services staff. Duties include the following: developing performance plans, evaluating work, coaching employees, administering leave, resolving staff complaints, recommending promotions or awards, and initiating any disciplinary personnel actions. Plan, direct, monitor and manage the day-to-day oversight of the museum's cleaning and housekeeping operation, organizing, coordinating, and directing custodial work and general maintenance activities of the Facilities staff.
