IT SPECIALIST (CUSTSPT)

You will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) in hardware acquisitions in support of the Operations Team efforts; and you will develop and maintain the operating procedures. You will serve as the liaison to internal teams and external customers for funding IT hardware purchases in support of remote site installations and end-user hardware. You will monitor the ongoing operations of a complex desktop environment with a large number of installations and technical refresh efforts. You will serve as the SME providing technical support to customers (i.e. - customer assistance, installation planning, inventory control and funding process) in response to customer requirements. You will provide analytical and evaluative duties related to computer networks and telecommunications with primary knowledge requirements of IT hardware capabilities along with trending technologies. You will provide high-level technical expertise in trending technologies to determine replacement models.
