LEAD IT SPECIALIST (APPSW)

Provides leadership functions to technical IT Specialists who support system analysis, system design, agile software engineering, test management, system integration testing (SIT), agile project management. Participates in the work of the team, coaches and facilitates problem solving techniques or work methods, and assists team in identifying solutions, priorities in and organizing to accomplish the work. Analyzes functional and technical requirements of proposed or existing IT systems to determine avenues of development or modification necessary to meet mission objectives. Participates in systems requirement reviews and prepares system change/programming specifications, programming instructions, inputs and outputs, structures, and other analytical products to document functional and technical requirements. Assigned to information system projects. Tracks progress throughout the life cycle of the project. Ensures schedules and objectives are accomplished in accordance with milestones. C
