INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Responsible for the control, use and disposition of accountable property for the Site. Researches and resolves discrepancies in the system specific to the Site. Reviews ELMS property deficiency reports and recommends/approves changes submitted to the ELMS Systems Administrator. Researches and resolves discrepancies in the system specific to the Site. Reviews ELMS property deficiency reports and recommends/approves changes submitted to the ELMS Systems Administrator. Obtains delegation authority for new hand-receipt holders and briefs them on policies and procedures. Monitors inventory control of hand receipts via ELMS. Documents accountable property transactions required by an APO, such as lateral transfers from one property book to another property book or transfers to a donation program or other DoW certified recipient.
