Civil Engineer

You will serve as a Civil Engineer and be responsible for the design and construction of new and/or extension, conversion, modernization, maintenance and repair of existing Coast Guard modern or historical shore facilities and marine site structures. You will provide technical civil engineering support for assigned geographical areas. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Analyzing designs, planning, and executing large and/or complex designs for a diverse range of engineering projects. Evaluating design objectives, performing complex technical calculations, and identifying the most economical and efficient procedures for project design and performance considering all influences.
