About the role
You will serve as an Ordnance Equipment Worker and be responsible for providing intermediate tasking in ordnance practices, for construction and repair required for accomplishing all Ordnance, Electrical and Electronic operations along with Yard objectives. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Works directly or through a supervisor, work leader, worker and or Mechanic to assist in all kinds of trades task involved in construction, repairing, or renovating a wide variety of types of gun systems, electrical components of gun systems and Naval Warfare Electronics work, performing job functions, in the shop, on marine craft and vessels.
