About the role
You will execute and restore scheduled utility outages by operating valves and placing/removing hazardous energy control tags (LOTO) for steam, water, wastewater, and natural gas systems. You will respond to trouble calls, isolate system emergencies, set up bypass pumps, and reroute utility services to ensure continuous supply and protect personnel and facilities. You will perform routine preventive maintenance and execute minor repairs on utility system equipment, including replacing valves, steam traps, and pumps in various pump stations. You will provide shore-to-ship utility services by connecting, maintaining, and replacing critical service hoses for steam, water, wastewater, and oily waste. You will work independently on a 24/7 rotating shift (including weekends, holidays, and severe weather), conducting shift turnovers and documenting system data in station logs.
