About the role
As a TRANSPORTATION SPECIALIST at the GS-2101-12 some of your typical work assignments may include: Manage the Command's Requirements Phase of the Joint Training System (JTS), ensuring training requirements accurately reflect mission needs and are integrated into training plans. Serve as the Command's Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Joint Mission Essential Task List (JMETL) processes, policies, regulations, and directives. Provide expert advice and guidance to directorate-appointed Joint Training Representatives (JTRs) to develop comprehensive and actionable training requirements. Lead the development, implementation, and execution of the annual Joint Training Plan (JTP) to enhance Command readiness. Mentor and support JTRs in creating Directorate Training Plans (DTPs) that align with the Command's strategic objectives.
