About the role
Manages Declassification Operations Programs. Serves as the lead program manager for multiple declassification operations lines of effort including automatic, systematic, mandatory, and special/ discretionary, thus ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and meeting customer needs. Designs and conducts complex declassification surveys, reviews, and research projects and provides advisory services on issues. Serves as expert planner, coordinator, and advisor for agency policy regarding declassification planning within DoD constraints. Maintains agency automated databases actions for incorporation into the interagency declassification database. Ensures adequate handling, storage and transfer of all classified records at all security levels to meet requirements of Executive Order 13526, 32 CFR 2001, DoD Manual 5200.01, DAFMAN 16-1404, and other governmental regulations relating to security protective measures.
