COMPUTER SCIENTIST

Serves as an engineer performing technical leadership and consultation services for the organization. Responsible for engineering, planning, designing, and reviewing designs of information systems, which are designed as a total integrated system that incorporates a scalable hierarchy. Conducts test and evaluations of systems and coordinates technical planning in installation activities by relating future program plans to available resources, installation responsibilities, and scientific discoveries. Keeps abreast of new emerging technologies in areas of specialization. Conducts in-house research, investigations, as well as directing and monitoring contractor personnel.
