Serve as the principal OO liaison to RMS and DCP management and staff in the assigned region for regulatory issues brought forward by the industry. Serve as an expert liaison with other Divisions and Offices in the assigned region involved in matters brought to the attention of the OO. Build external relationships by promoting customer service and public relations within the region through responsive, professional and timely program stewardship that enhances the image of the Corporation. Meet with insured depository institution officials and/or boards of directors, FDIC and other federal and state government regulators to discuss and resolve complaints brought to the attention of the OO. Perform and/or coordinate the investigation of complaints; reviews supervisory materials for the resolution of complex or sensitive inquiries and complaints relating to FDIC regulatory activities.
