About the role
Serves as a key advisor to OPC senior leadership, carrying out intake and assessment strategies and tactics to evaluate complex intake and investigative issues. Conducts research of applicable laws, regulations, and policies during the formation of intake assessments; takes sworn and unsworn recorded testimony, when necessary, and collects documentary evidence; and analyzes evidence for creditability, relevance, and sufficiency. Ensures case files are complete, organized and include documents sufficient to complete the full scope of an investigation. Receives and reviews allegations of interpersonal misconduct, harassment and retaliation; builds and updates case files; and makes determinations on relevancy, scope, and appropriate authority for investigation. Independently manages major reports of interpersonal misconduct, harassment, and/or retaliation involving staff at all levels of the agency, including the most senior executives and complex, sensitive senior leader cases.
