QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (ELECTRONICS)

Involved in all aspects of Quality Assurance including pre-production, production/manufacturing, acceptance testing, verification, courseware development, academic instruction, and configuration management. Performs evaluation of contractor's written quality processes and requests additional quality processes to implement site unique requirements. Prepares request for proposals, statements of work, and item specification. Performs acceptance test procedures (ATP), Simulator Certification (SIMCERT), software testing, verification, and configuration management for multiple commands. Serves as expert analyst/advisor to the AF System Program Offices (SPO), Project Manager (PM), AFSOC and 492 SOTRG leadership on modifications and timelines for the simulators. Requests and coordinates with other base agencies, such as: Civil Engineering, Safety, Security Police, Supply, Comptroller, etc., to ensure government-furnished services and material in support of the contract(s).
