Health Specialist

• Responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing activities for assigned research programs and the management and evaluation of grant applications. • Review data and progress reports, and implements corrective actions needed to achieve adequate research progress. • Participate in the development of Program Announcements, Requests for Applications, and Requests for Proposals in areas of research. • Plan and execute analytic research projects and researches the quality of methodologies and measures pertinent to the assessment and summarization of the health status of Americans. • Identify inadequacies and inconsistencies in data and inform higher-level specialists data issues.
