About the role
The following are the duties of this position at the GS-12. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties and will receive training to help you grow in this position: Lead or assist in scheduled internal control reviews or audits. Prepare a project plan and timeline; document the project objectives, scope, and methodology; utilize statistical sampling. Prepare and present formal and informal briefings to Bureau management or the Audit team lead on the status or results of studies, reviews, and systems projects. Perform management-directed reviews or studies of Bureau operations, as requested by Bureau management. Consult with management and program areas to obtain concurrence on findings and recommendations; reviews work papers and provides guidance to team members.
