- Leads a team of trades and/or labor workers. - Performs nonsupervisory trades and/or labor work that is usually of the same kind and level as members of the work crew led. - Diagnoses, repairs and completes maintenance of specialized firefighting and aircraft crash/rescue response vehicles and equipment to include agent pumping systems, electronic pressure regulating systems, agent distribution storage and piping supply sub-systems, multiple designed valves, primer pumps and power take-offs, electric and hydraulic systems, steering mechanisms, emergency lights, computerized ignition, pneumatic system, fuel delivery systems, air brakes, suspensions, and transmissions. - Uses effective practices, methods, tools, equipment, and materials for the maintenance and repair of emergency services equipment hydraulic systems.
