MILITARY PAY TECHNICIAN

Complete a variety of complex Military Pay transactions utilizing multiple Financial Systems (i.e. correction and adjustment of several items of pay due to changes in other parts of an account, reconciling out of balance accounts, one-time payments, etc.). Validate Military Pay entitlements assigned to Tour Requests or TDY Orders generated in the Air Force Reserves Order Writing System - Reserves (AROWS-R). Researches, retrieves and reviews sensitive administrative and financial information for internal and external agencies Technician participates in managing, resolving and processing a wide range of routine, special and complex pay actions, sensitive and high interest debt collection cases which typically require extensive research and technical expertise. Applies the appropriate regulations, GAO, BCMR and Comptroller General Decisions IAW the Barring Act while computing complicated and outdated debt collection action Functions as the OPR for unique reserve programs and processes tec
