As a Nursing Assistant you will meet the needs of customers while supporting VA missions. The primary purpose of the restorative Nursing Assistant position is to perform direct patient support work to include individualized exercise regimens for patients. Perform all direct patient care tasks in the nursing assistant role. Provide instruction to patients and family members about restorative nursing techniques to enhance independence in function and to maintain resident's self-performance of care. Provides care to patients experiencing deconditioning or learning needs in relationship to functional activities of daily living. Have knowledge of restorative principles driving direct patient care.
