Telecommunications Specialist

Responsible for advising other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on a variety of telecommunications issues, resolving complex problems, adapting and coordinating the application of new standards and methods. Performs work that involves planning, analysis, design, development, testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, implementation, integration, maintenance, and/or management of land mobile systems Responsible for acting as Contract Officer Representative and supports the Land Mobile Radio (LMR) group for Contracts. Provides oversight and guidance to determine appropriate products or services with clients or customers, and defines project scope, requirements, and deliverable. Provides guidance, expert advice while participating in the development of policies, procedures and standardization documents that pertain to LMR communication site management. Performs day to day duties in the accountability process for telecommunications facilities and services.
