Supervisory Hydrologic Technician

As a Supervisory Hydrologic Technician within the Pennsylvania Water Science Center, some of your specific duties will include: Plans, designs, schedules, and supervises the activities of employees and student interns engaged in surface, ground, and water-quality hydrologic data collection, data management, and data reporting activities for the Philadelphia Office of the Science Center. Promotes and maintains cooperator relations with USGS programs, and local, State, and other Federal agencies concerned with the development and operation of hydrologic networks. Serves as the local expert on new and innovative technologies in hydrologic data collection. Provides administrative and technical direction to the staff utilizing knowledge of pertinent Federal and Bureau personnel, EEO, safety, finance and procurement policies and procedures.
