About the role
As a Data Scientist you will serve as an expert analyst and advisor to senior management, with a primary function of providing objectively based information derived from the use of advanced scientific, mathematical, and statistical work to support data-driven decision making across the Office of Laboratories and Scientific Services. This position starts at a salary of $106,437.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $138,370.00 (GS-13, Step 10). Salary: Salary listed reflects the rest of U.S. scale and, if applicable, will be adjusted to meet the locality pay or cost of living expenses of the duty location upon selection. Major duties for this position include but are not limited to: Designing, developing, and implementing methods, processes, and systems to analyze diverse data.
