Contract Specialist (Intermediate)

Serves as a Contract Specialist for the Air Force Nonappropriated Fund Procurement Office. Performs analysis and evaluation of cost or price proposals; administers contracts ensuring compliance with terms and conditions; and develops and provides business solutions to day-to-day contractual challenges. Communicates in the form of briefings, written, correspondence, and personal contact. Exercises sound judgement in pre-solicitation, solicitation, award, and post award contract actions. Participates in meetings with key customers (Program Management Reviews), suppliers, and coordinating officials to assess customer satisfaction, explain contracting policy and procedures, and resolve problems that arise.
