QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST-DIRECT HIRE AUTHORITY

Responsible to perform evaluations of the effectiveness of maintenance operations in meeting established goals and objectives through the performance of inspections and evaluations such as Quality Verification Inspections (QVI), Personal Evaluations (PE), and Special Inspections (SI) as identified in applicable directives. As directed will be responsible for the internal management and/or technical review of one or more of the following programs or processes: ACFT/Equip Impoundment program, Functional Check Flight (FCF) program, Configuration management program (to include the modification of all assigned aircraft and equipment), Deficiency Reporting, Technical Order Corrections and Improvements, Time Compliance technical Orders, One Time Inspections, Tool Accountability System (TAS), Locally Manufactured or Developed Tool, Operating Instructions, Locally Prepared Technical Data (LPTD) (including Local Page Supplements (LPS), Local Work Cards, (LWC).
