ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SPECIALIST

1. Administers multiple environmental programs by planning, developing, organizing, evaluating and coordinating the programs. 2. Represents the Installation at meetings, conferences, panels, and committees comprised of representatives from regulatory agencies, other government agencies, commercial enterprises, and community organizations. 3. Develops and/or reviews plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a variety of projects for procurement by contract or in-house in support of environmental programs. 4. Manages internal environmental inspections. 5. Assists other environmental program managers in performing their duties.
