What will I do in this position if hired? In this Emergency Management Specialist - PLAN Planning Unit Leader (PLUL) - Reservist position, you will be expected to travel to disaster response and recovery operations, which may include living in and/or working in austere conditions, to act as a second-level supervisor of Incident Management (IM) Planning functions/personnel.Typical assignments include: Communicating, collaborating, and coordinating with a wide range of stakeholders internal and external to the agency related to the Planning section. Overseeing the assigned work unit in facilitating agency processes to develop, refine, and/or maintain incident level plans in support of disaster response and/or recovery. Managing information collection & analysis to support decisions of disaster leadership and/or other stakeholders.
