Deputy Director Operations

The Operations Directorate (TCJ3) directs and synchronizes the Defense Transportation System with national distribution processes to meet national security objectives. It maintains command and control of strategic forces and logistics infrastructure. The Deputy Director assists the Director and provides executive leadership and direction for all TCJ3 operational portfolios of Current Operations, Global Capacity, Mobility Requirements, Operations Sustainment, Mission Assurance, Special Activities, Joint Readiness, Military Operations Integration, Military Secretariat, Courier Division, the Command Liaison Officer Corps as well as the Joint Operational Support Airlift Center. As the senior executive civilian within TCJ3, the incumbent coordinates operational issues with key leaders and personnel within the Department of War, to include the Office of the Secretary of War, Joint Staff, Service Staffs, other Combatant Commands, and various national agencies in support USTRANSCOM's role as t
